Shock jock Kyle Sandilands has refused to comment on a reported stoush with TV host Andrew Denton during the recording of ABC TV’s Enough Rope.
In the incident Sandilands is said to have become agitated after Denton questioned his controversial style. Denton is said to have suggested the well-known media bad boy played with people’s lives.
Later Sandilands is said to have threatened to punch comedian Dave Hughes in the throat.
Sandilands’ abrasive style on his daily Sydney radio show and as a judge on Channel Ten’s Australian Idol has brought him much criticism.
Sandilands was lampooned in the media earlier this year after his much-publicised visit to Channel Ten’s Big Brother house was cut short after he claimed to be suffering migraines.
Denton’s interview with Sandilands will air on the ABC on September 3.
