It's hoped a new website will help keep Sydneysiders informed about what to do in the event of a terrorist attack.
The site, SecureNSW, has links to the emergency services and offers advice on who to contact if something goes wrong.
Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione says the internet has proved vital in times of emergency.
“At times of emergency, we found that the only link that stood up, anywhere in the world, has been the internet."
"It would be wrong and negligent if we didn’t exploit that. At the time of an attack, it’s a great way to talk.”
