With less than a week before take-off, Santa's global flight path has been handed final approval by air traffic controllers.
The flight plan has been put online to assure everyone Santa will be visiting them.
Airservices Australia spokesman Terry O'Connor said some details of the path had to be kept secret because of the magical nature of Santa's flight.
"Santa will not allow us to reveal the exact route or timings, because he does not want to tempt children to stay up waiting for him," Mr O'Connor said.
"Santa has asked us to remind children he doesn't visit houses where the children are awake," Mr O'Connor said.
The path will see Santa fly down the international dateline, across New Zealand and then into Australian airspace.
