Twenty wealthy Australians are among hundreds of people being investigated worldwide over allegations they've hidden money in secret bank accounts in a European tax haven.
This growing affair began when a former employee of a Lichtenstein bank sold account details to the German authorities, who subsequently offered to share the information with other governments.
Britain has paid for the list, and it appears that several found governments have found details of people who might be hiding funds from the tax authorities.
Lichtenstein is one of only three countries listed by the organisation of economic cooperation and development, as uncooperative tax havens.
