Seven middle-aged Spanish mothers have found out that sex doesn't sell always.
They tried to repeat the success a group of British women who had made more than a million pounds, by creating a discreet nude calendar of themselves for 2000 to raise money for leukemia research.
Their story was made into a hit movie, Calendar Girls.
The seven women in the small village of Serradilla del Arroyo in northern Salamanca also posed for a tongue-in-cheek nude calendar, a fundraiser for their children's tiny rural school.
However the scheme didn't work, and reports say they're now saddled with debt and five-thousand unwanted copies.
One of the photos shows the mothers with Christmas tinsel as their only garb, other goofy poses include a shotgun-toting mother wearing only a fox pelt and kneeling on a table.
One said the sad part is they can't even recycle the calendars.
