The magic of Tim Burton's “Edward Scissorhands” has been brought back to life.
The gothic fairytale has been re-born as a dance drama – with no words. Instead, expressive dance, pantomime and a memorable music score performed live tell the story.
Choreographer Matthew Bourne's theater production follows Edward, a sweet-natured, vulnerable boy, whose inventor father has created him with scissors instead of hands.
The production will be at the Sydney Opera House for a three week season from 29 May – 14 June 2008.
