A victim of Milton Orkopoulos has attacked the Labor party, for protecting the former Aboriginal Affairs minister.
After delivering his victim impact statement the young man turned to the former state minister, looked him in the eye and said “burn in hell you grub.”
At that, Orkopoulos smirked and looked forward to the front of the court room.
In March Orkopoulos was found guilty on 28 charges, including having sexual intercourse without consent.
He already pleaded guilty to two other charges.
Details on how he would give drugs to teenage boys in exchange for sex acts were revealed during his four week trial.
One of his victims had to stop several times this morning, fighting back tears saying he heard Orkopoulos’s voice in his nightmares.
The victim has also attacked the Labor party, for protecting the former Aboriginal Affairs minister.
He’s told the court he felt betrayed that Orkopoulos used his interest in politics to use him for acts of pedophilia.
Outside court the victim said he felt let down by the ALP.
“Those involved should hang their head in shame.”
