The day's drug busts continue

10/05/2008 5:16:00 PM.  | James Cregan

A 51-year-old man has been charged with cultivating drugs in his Bradbury home in Sydney's southwest.

Police found 145 cannabis plants growing in an elaborate hydroponic set-up, powered by un-metered electricity.

The drug has an estimated street value of $350,000.

It came after Police charged six people linked to a drug syndicate operating in Sydney and the Hunter Region when more than $1 million worth of ecstasy was seized.

Police praised the public for their support during the operation.

Stolen cash, jewellery, precious stones, explosive devices and a detonator where also found by police during the raid.

It's always good to know such things have been removed from circulation. Less of an opportunity for a kid to be killed in an accident.
