In a blow to alien watchers and conspiracy theorists across the nation Big Brother’s resident paranormal activity expert Saxon was the first housemate to be evicted live from the compound for 2008.
The council worker was chosen by his fellow housemates to leave after he was voted by the public as one of three bottom housemates along with Rory and David.
It was an all male bottom three after Rebecca was saved from the final three by the squeaky voiced Travis thanks to his special powers earned as part of the Friday Night Live twist.
It is unusual for men to feature in early evictions of the show, but the eviction system has been reversed this year with viewers choosing the pool of housemates to face eviction and the housemates voting who leaves.
This is the first time in eight years the show has operated in this way and follows a host of changes to the ratings juggernaut.
Saxon has ruffled some feathers in the house with his boorish behaviour and his confessions he has held racist views in the past.
Saxon said he wasn't surprised to be voted out by his fellow housemates.
"I'm pretty arrogant when I want to be," he told hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O.
"I probably got under some people's skin."
Saxon will feature on the Monday night Big Brother show Big Mouth tomorrow night where he will no doubt be forced to justify some of his extreme views.
This week's instalments of Big Brother will also feature Carson Kressley the flamboyant star of Queer Eye For A Straight Guy and an exotic holiday for some of the housemates where they fly to a tropical paradise.
Meanwhile online bookmaker Lasseters Sportsbook is tipping the squeaky clean Travis to win the show, paying $3.00, and has Terri the 52-year-old grandma as the least likely to win at $41.00.
