A gunman who shot dead a city lawyer in last year's triple shooting in Melbourne's CBD has pleaded guilty to murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Paramedics who worked furiously to save the victims of a Melbourne city shooting last June say they feel a sense of relief at the murderer's guilty plea, which means people will not be required to go back to court to relive the events of that day.
Paramedic Lindsay Bent says he still has vivid images of a crowd staring in horror at the bleeding victims shot by bikie Christopher Wayne Hudson in Melbourne's CBD on June 18.
The former Hells Angel biker shot Brendan Keilar in the chest at point-blank range when the good samaritan tried to stop him from dragging former Sydney model Kaera Douglas from a taxi by her hair on the morning of June 18.
Hudson also shot and critically injured another bystander, Dutch backpacker Paul De Waard, and Ms Douglas in front of stunned city workers.
Mr Keilar, a married father of three, died in the street.
Mr De Waard was shot twice in the chest and abdomen and lost part of his lung but survived along with Ms Douglas.
Today Magistrate Phillip Goldberg remanded Hudson in custody to appear for a directions hearing in the Victorian Supreme Court next month.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
Hudson last week pleaded guilty to a firearms charge over a separate shooting incident during a wild night out with AFL star Alan Didak.
