Jennie Garth to counsel on 90210 spinoff

12/05/2008 11:09:00 AM.  |
The wild kids of television's West Beverly Hills High will have a guidance counsellor who is very familiar with the posh zip code's dating, drugs, and drama.

Jennie Garth will reprise her role as Kelly Taylor and join the cast of the CW network's Beverly Hills, 90210 pilot spinoff.

She won't be a regular, but she will play a guidance counsellor at her alma mater, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Garth, 36, departed the CBC comedy pilot My Best Friend's Girl last month.

Garth appeared in the role of Kelly Taylor on the original Beverly Hills, 90210 which ran from 1990-2000.
