12/05/2008 3:03:00 PM.  | Emily Smith
Mercedes Corby has told a jury she's never smuggled drugs.

The sister of Schapelle Corby is giving evidence in her defamation case against Channel Seven.

Mercedes Corby is suing the network over claims made by her former best friend Jodie Power on Today Tonight.

She’s told the jury she’s never taken nor had the drugs cocaine, ecstasy, speed or shabu in her possession.

Ms Corby has denied lying to the public about her family’s involvement in drugs.

When asked about Schapelle’s arrest in Bali, Ms Corby told the jury: “My sister’s innocent.”

There are way too many jokes that can be made about Mercedes comments. One can drive a car through it.

You tell 'em Mercedes. I hope everyone that has lied about you and your family (including the witnesses) get what they deserve.

The media have dun nothing but twist the truth its clear to see Mercedes Corby is not a Drug Trafficker running some Drug ring like the media claimed and that silly letter is nothing more then hear say, and I think the letter says she said she was unable to get "Es" which is to say she never came in contact with it,and it would not be out of line in this twisted injustice case to say that the letter has been fabricated just like the TV show was.
