Decision time for Hewitt on hip injury

17/05/2008 5:49:00 PM.  | AAP
Lleyton Hewitt is deciding whether to cancel his summer of European tennis at the French Open, Queen's club and Wimbledon after seeing specialists for a hip problem that's bothered him since January.

In the worst-case scenario, the two-time Grand Slam winner could find himself out for an extended period should surgery be needed.

The 27-year-old hasn't played since winning one rubber in a Davis Cup sweep of Thailand in April.
