Pooches and Pollies promote RSPCA's Million Paws Walk

This Sunday, cities around Australia will host the RSPCA Million Paws Walk - when pet-owners and their dogs, cats and even guinea pigs take to the streets for animal rights.

In promotion of the event, Liberal Senator Gary Humphries and a handful of his collegues got up close and possible with thirty playful pups, as part of "Hounds on the Hill" at Parliament House this week.

The Million Paws walk aims to raise much needed funds for the 138 000 animals taking shelter in RSPCA refuges around the country.
