Ashlee Simpson's wedding rumours rife

16/05/2008 3:30:00 PM.  | AP
If Ashlee Simpson's wedding is not happening at her parents' home, they're sure going out of their way to fake it.

A flurry of arrangements were apparent Saturday afternoon just outside the guarded gates of Joe Simpson's property, where all signs indicated that the pop singer's wedding to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz was imminent.

White shuttle vans with deeply tinted windows were streaming through the gates. Several delivery vehicles, including those marked as belonging to celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, arrived at the
compound in Encino in the San Fernando Valley.

Drivers of a few expensive cars who arrived at the guard tower were told to park elsewhere and take a shuttle. One was a well-dressed woman who arrived in an Audi packed with red boxes.
