Fans can finally get a sneak peak of Baz Luhrmann’s highly anticipated film, Australia.

The trailer has been released on Telstra's bigpond.com.au, with an exclusive introduction message from one of the movie’s stars, Nicole Kidman.

The romantic action epic which won’t be in cinemas for another six months, is set in northern Australia prior to World War II.

The who’s who of the Australian film industry appear alongside Kidman, with Hugh Jackman, Bryan Brown, Bill Hunter, John Jarrett, Barry Otto and David Wenham adding to the star studded cast.

"The trailer presents all the elements of a truly epic movie, in the hands of one of the world's most visionary directors and two of the world's biggest movie stars," said Marcos Oliveira, managing director of 20th Century Fox Australia.

"We couldn't be more excited."

Australia will be released in cinemas across the country on November 13.
