NSW Opposition Leader Barry O’Farrell will get the chance to deliver his budget reply this morning - revealing how he believes taxpayers' dollars should be spent.
Mr O’Farrell has been highly critical of the budget handed down on Tuesday, which will see $6 billion borrowed to fund infrastructure projects this year alone.
He says the government needs to ensure it will actually deliver the projects, claiming the government has maxed out the state’s credit card.
In his budget reply last year, Mr O’Farrell proposed the sale of the state’s electricity retail assets to fund infrastructure.
But he appears to have changed his tune already, vowing not to vote with the government’s $10 billion sell-off despite the premier agreeing to the opposition’s demands.
