Biggest Loser host faces 23 charges of fraud

12/06/2008 4:03:00 PM.  | Jesse Perez
The Biggest Loser host Ajay Rochester currently faces a challenge far greater than shedding 60kgs - she needs to burn off 23 separate charges of fraud.

The 39-year-old Channel 10 personality is expected to face Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday after nine charges of financial advantage from a Commonwealth Entity, and 14 of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage were laid.

It is believed that Rochester allegedly committed the fraudulent acts in a period prior to her television career.

Network Ten did not make any comment - but confirmed that Ajay is still part of the 'Seriously' stable.

"As the matter is before the court it would be inappropriate for us to make any further comment," a Ten spokeswoman told News Limited.
