Kyle Sandilands will return to his hosting role on Big Brother on Sunday night’s eviction show after surviving pneumonia, heart attack rumours and the warmly-received performance of understudy, Mike Goldman.
The workaholic star hosts a number one breakfast radio slot, is a judge on Australian Idol and runs a talent agency - as well as being a co-host of Big Brother.
He has been bedridden for two weeks.
While he’s still not 100 per cent, his spokesperson, Andrew Hawkins, told News Ltd he’s doing well.
“His birthday was a very quiet affair, just spent with family and a few friends around,” he said.
“He’s taking it easy, but he’s looking forward to getting back on the show on Sunday.”
In his two-week absence his hosting duties have been taken over by long time Big Brother host Mike Goldman, the face of Friday Night Live.
Goldman was praised for his deep knowledge of the program and his generous treatment of housemates while he hosted the premiere Sunday night eviction show.
