Big Brother: Yummy-mummy buried as housemates dig

16/06/2008 2:50:00 PM.  | Tim Brunero
Yummy-mummy Rhianna was voted out of Big Brother last night as her fellow housemates began to dig for a treasure chest that will lead them to the ultimate prize of $250,000.

Rhianna was evicted from the house unexpectedly, with fellow intruders, surf hunk Cherry and motor-mouthed baby boomer Terrance, thought the more likely candidates.

Rhianna, who has never had a long-term boyfriend and entered the house to find love, was joined on stage by her seven-year-old daughter Mia.

The 25-year-old’s eviction has brought to a close a blossoming romance between her and Victorian brickie Rory - with the two cavorting nightly in the giant Big Brother bed.

Rhianna’s removal from the house was soon forgotten by housemates, after Big Brother revealed minutes after she left how they could find the show’s ultimate prize.

In scenes reminiscent of an Indiana Jones movie the Gold Coast compound’s backyard has been turned into a giant dig, with housemates having to find a treasure chest, which contains a riddle leading them to $250,000 hidden somewhere in the house.

According to online bookmaker Lasseter’s Sportsbook, the digger most likely to claim the $250,000 is the squeaky voiced Travis on $2.50, with uni student Ben and Pauline Hanson-supporting Grandmother Terri, trailing behind on $7.00.

Absent Big Brother co-host Kyle Sandilands returned to his role last night after two weeks off with pneumonia.

The abrasive shock jock displayed a warmer side after his performance was unfavourably compared to fill-in host Mike Goldman’s more caring approach.
