Australia's Hugh Jackman is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Jackman was among 25 stars selected to have their names engraved on a star on Hollywood Boulevard's famous footpath next year, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee announced on Thursday.
Recipients joining Jackman in the motion picture category were: Tim Burton, Leslie Caron, Cameron Diaz, Robert Downey Jr, Charles Durning, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Kingsley and William H Macy.
Television stars getting their names on the footpath were: Felicity Huffman, John Stamos, Chuck Lorre, William Petersen, Kyra Sedgwick and Mark Burnett.
In the recording category, Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds, Dave Koz, The Miracles, Doug Morris, RUSH, Shakira and The Village People were chosen for the 2009 honour.
And in the radio category, Bill Handel and Harry Shearer - who also provides voices for characters on The Simpsons including Mr Burns and Ned Flanders - are also getting stars.
The Walk of Fame, which lines both sides of Hollywood Boulevard, honours more than 2000 entertainers, whose names are engraved on bronze and pink terrazzo stars, surrounded by charcoal terrazzo squares.
