The girlfriend of disgraced former AFL great Wayne Carey has admitted the Aussie rules star has pushed her, but never punched her, during their tumultuous relationship.
And speaking on the Nine Network's 60 Minutes program last night, model Kate Neilson says both of them behaved in a highly volatile manner while using cocaine.
Carey admitted on the show his actions were violent and expressed remorse.
The two, who have left Melbourne for the Gold Coast and regularly attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings in Brisbane, also admit to a lifestyle dominated by cocaine.
Ms Neilson says they were mixing in circles, partying, destroying their health and relationship.
Carey is charged over an alleged altercation with police at his luxury Port Melbourne apartment in January, and faces charges in the United States over a confrontation with police in Miami.
