Big Brother: 'Old fart' retired, midget re-hired

29/06/2008 11:09:00 AM.  | Tim Brunero

Terrance the geriatric motor mouth was retired from the Gold Coast share house tonight in a shock result after house Casanova Rory was widely tipped to leave.

The 51-year-old’s constant talking, boring stories and penchant for ‘dad jokes’ were widely seen as the reason for his demise.

Terrance, who was sporting a new beard as he left the house, had also had a long running feud with viewer favourite and resident princess Brigitte which is likely to have cost him support.

Upon leaving the house the sarong-wearing father of two attacked Brigitte’s parents claiming they had done a bad job in raising the 21-year-old.

Geelong bricklayer Rory had been favourite to leave according to bookies after an incident where he jiggled his testicles in the shower in front of 52-year-old fellow housemate Terri.

Also tonight little person Rima Hadchiti re-entered the house after a two-month absence.

The professional belly dancer was Medivaced out of the Gold Coast compound after breaking her leg during “Friday Night Live” where housemates dress up and go head to head in a variety of physical contests.

But Rima’s mishap was not the only reason she has caused headlines during her stint as a housemate.

Shortly after entering the house pornographic shots that she herself had posted were discovered on the internet.

And only a week ago she was involved in a minor car accident.

The 24-year-old, who stands at one metre tall, is the first “little person” ever to enter the Big Brother house.

Hadchiti has a “secret mission” but she is ineligible to take out the show’s $250,000 prize even though there is no time limit being put on her stay.

Hadchiti’s special assignment involves making housemates believe there is a “mole” amongst their number who is secretly working with Big Brother to undermine their every move.

Rima’s re-entry comes as romance is beginning to blossom between housemates Ben and Bianca.

It also comes as expectation builds afer an announcement former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson will be injected into the house in just ten days time.

Online bookmakers Lasseter’s Sportsbook have Travis to take out the show at $2.75, Terri on $4.50 and Alice bursting into the top three on $7.00.

Might be better if they retired other "old farts" ...Tim B, Kyle S etc etc. Yawn, yawn, yawn! Why don't they move the show to a more appropriate time slot...like 3 am, where it can compete with re-runs of "Dallas"!

Perhaps we may get lucky and see the removal of this boredom from tv. Talk about chewing gum for the BRAIN.
