Ian Usher, the man who made headlines round the world for selling his entire life on Ebay, has come up under the digital hammer slightly shorter than expected, reaching just under $384,000.
Usher had placed all of his personal possessions on the online auction site, including his house, car, motorcylce and jet-ski - along with introductions to his friends and a trial period at his job.
He was hoping the booty would fetch him at least $480,00, but that the sale would allow him to make a new start.
"I guess I'm a little bit disappointed at the final price, I'd hoped it to be a little higher than that." He told the Nine Network
Usher, a British immigrant to Australia, underwent the process to move on from a painful breakup with his wife.
He did not reveal what his next plan of action would be following the sale, or the name of the winner.
Off The Wall says: The winner may be the only person in the world who you can say "get a life" to, and then have them truly reply "I just did!"
