Catchpole caught with vitamins, not drugs: lawyer

1/07/2008 1:00:00 PM.  | Emily Smith
The lawyer for the son of rugby great Ken Catchpole has told a Sydney court he expects drug charges against him to be dropped.

Police arrested Mark Catchpole eralier this year along with Olympian Scott Miller.

The forty-year-old is facing several drug and proceeds of crime charges after officers allegedly uncovered a pill-press belonging to the pair.

But Catchpole's lawyer says methylamphetamines that were allegedly found are in fact vitamin supplements and he's confident the charges will be dropped later this year.

Catchpole's bail has been varied today, allowing him to live in Queensland.
