Belinda Neal is facing another political battle, with the Labor party refusing to pre-select her for the 2010 ballot.
It's been a long 27 days since that night at the Igauna's club on the Central Coast, but if Belinda Neal and John Della Bosca hoped being interviewed by police yesterday would put an end to the issue, they were wrong.
News Limited reports Labor party chiefs are refusing to pre-select Ms Neal for the next election in the Central Coast seat of Robertson and say she never should have got the job in the first place.
They're also considering the fate of her husband, the former NSW education minister, but unions are said to be behind him.
Police are yet to defer the case to the DPP, their investigations are continuing.
