Network Ten is releasing a raft of new home-grown TV shows, including a dating program and a comedy based on the hit toilet humour film, Kenny.
Ten announced its plans for the second half of the year, with a mix of old and new shows on the table.
New Australian crime drama Rush will make its debut in September, as will Kenny's World, from the makers of the mockumentary film Kenny, which follows the portaloo plumber on a world toilet sightseeing tour.
Also starting in September is a dating show featuring single men and women being introduced to 30 eligible love interest contestants, and a Bondi Rescue spin-off set in Bali.
Old shows returning include the reality singing competition Australian Idol, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? and the US version of So You Think You Can Dance.
Ten's head of programming David Mott said he was confident the line-up would boost ratings in the network's key younger demographic.
"We have a great second half line-up and we are especially proud of our new Australian slate," he said in a statement.
Other programs will include the ARIAs, Jamie Oliver specials, fast-tracked episodes of US programs such as House, as well as sports events such as golf's Ryder Cup, AFL and Formula One.
Mr Mott said he would announce two other Australian projects in early 2009.
