A man has been charged in relation to the deaths of two French students who were tortured and stabbed to death in their southeast London flat.
33-year-old Nigel Farmer is accused of killing Gabriel Ferez and Laurent Bonomo, both 23.
Their bodies were discovered gagged and bound in their charred unit on June 29.
Farmer, who has no fixed address, is also charged with arson and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Farmer will appear in court in Greenwich, in southeast London tomorrow.
The horrific nature of the deaths shocked even the most experienced detectives who described the incident as the most "frenzied, brutal and horrific" attack they had ever seen.
Bonomo was stabbed up to 200 times – 80 of the stab wounds were inflicted after he was dead - while Ferez suffered around 50.
Six days before they were killed, Bonomo walked in on an intruder attempting to steal a laptop from the flat, the computer is still being studied by forensic investigators.
The attacker who struck on the 29th of June left with game consoles and credit cards.
