Miley Cyrus wants to make a “cleaner” ‘Sex and the City’.
The 15-year-old star – who is no stranger to scandal, having posed ‘topless’ for Vanity Fair magazine and featured in provocative photographs which have been leaked onto the internet – thinks a version of the hit US TV show for younger viewers could be a success.
She said: “I'd love to do a younger, cleaner version of ‘Sex and the City’.
"I like to think of myself as the girl that no one can get, that no one can keep in their hand.”
The ‘Hannah Montana’ star – whose father is country singer Billy Ray Cyrus - also revealed she wears a ‘purity ring’ to signify her commitment to abstaining from sex until she gets married.
She told TV Guide magazine: “Even at my age, a lot of girls are starting to fall. And I think if staying a virgin is a commitment girls make, that's great.”
Despite Miley’s Vanity Fair cover causing worldwide controversy, the singer-and-actress insists she is determined to be a good influence on her fans.
She added: “I want to be a positive role model, so we just try to keep that stuff as much not talked about as possible. I don't dwell on the negativity.”
