World Youth Day pilgrims still lingering around Sydney have been offered half price entry to the nation's biggest sex exposition.

Sexpo exhibitors say Sydney Archbishop Cardinal George Pell's call to arms for young Catholic pilgrims to procreate or perish has struck a chord.

The weekend-long WYD event was pro-sex and not anti-religion, says the Eros Association, Australia's national adult retail and entertainment association.

"If people are going to procreate, they have to become more relaxed about their sexuality and Sexpo is a place where young adult pilgrims can do this without feeling ungodly," association head Fiona Patten said.

"Pilgrims will be welcomed with open arms by the adult industry and will find an astonishing array of items and services that will help couples keep sexually aware and interested in each other."

Pilgrims will receive half-price tickets on Thursday if they bring their WYD badges to the event at the Hordern Pavilion.

There will be a donation box with proceeds going to Broken Rites to help victims of clergy sex abuse.

I am glad that donations are being made and would like the address to which I can direct my sperm sample. AMEN

Sexpo is obviously getting desparate if they are trying to turn Pells words into support for Sexpo. As if Sexpo is about procreating. It's more about a bunch of people bored with ordinary monogamous sex who need a bunch of gadgets and porn stars to spice up their serial depression. Part of the whole consumerist sickness where people will exploit their individual freedom to induldge in the slavery of their own selfish appetites. I feel sorry for our society that feels it needs this.

Hey Catholic Bloke, At least the folks at Sexpo are collecting money to donate to the victims of clergy sex abuse. That's a heckuva lot more than the Catholic church appears to be doing for them without being dragged to the table, kicking and screaming. What was that bible quote again? You know, the one about worrying about the beam in my own eye before removing the mote from my neighbour's...?
