The parents of missing British toddler Madeleine McCann hope to use secret Portuguese police files to reinvigorate the hunt for their daughter now they're no longer suspects.
Kate and Gerry McCann have been cleared of being official suspects in their daughter's disappearance, as Portugal's attorney-general ordered detectives to shelve the 14-month-old case.
Robert Murat, a British ex-pat who lived near to where Madeline went missing in May last year, has also had his official suspect status lifted.
At a brief press conference in their home in Leicestershire, the McCann’s expressed relief, but said it was no cause for celebration because Madeleine remains missing.
They say they're forward to scrutinising the police files to see what has actually been done, and what can still be done to find their little girl.
