A teenage woman has been attacked while putting out the rubbish in daylight at her northern NSW home.
Police say about 11am (AEST) on Friday the woman was grabbed from behind after she'd carried the rubbish bin into the front yard of her Armidale home.
"It is alleged she was grabbed from behind when walking back through her front door and a man then bound her hands and feet with wire and gagged her mouth with a cloth," police said in a statement.
"She was then allegedly hit around the head and scratched around her torso with wire before being indecently assaulted."
The victim was treated for minor injuries.
