Psychic show The One last night found Australia’s leading psychic after an exhaustive search which saw seven of our best clairvoyants pitted against each other in a series of challenges.
Charmaine Wilson edged out Ezio De Angelis and Amanda Rousetty to take out the prize which was decided by audience vote. She promised to represent the spirit world and the psychic community as best she can.
“I am passionate about bringing light onto the subject and will always strive to present the truth and expose the untruths,” she said.
Each week Charmaine strove to edge out other contestants in tests which involved using psychometry, mediumship (speaking to the dead), remote viewing, medical intuition and clairvoyance.
One week contestants had to find a young boy ‘lost’ in the bush – the competitors had to use their abilities to hone-in on his location.
Another involved the psychics trying to find a single piece of contraband in one of 70 shipping containers.
A third saw them taken to a gaol in Melbourne to find the bones of Ned Kelly.
Last night’s finale to the five-episode show hosted by Andrew Daddo was a winner for Channel Seven attracting 1.6 million viewers.
