Saucy new screenshots have emerged from Australia, Baz Luhrmann’s sweeping epic starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman – showing a side to the film few were expecting.

Original trailers for the period piece only suggested at a romantic encounter between Kidman and Jackman’s characters – but the new shots show them in a full embrace.

The details of the film have been a well kept secret – but pieces of the puzzle are presenting themselves, forming a picture of a sizzling story.

Australia is also shaping up to be a who’s who of the Aussie acting fraternity - with icons Bryan Brown, Jack Thompson, Bill Hunter and Bruce Spence making up a small fraction of the enormous cast.

It’s also the first film in seven years for director Baz Luhrmann, whose last feature film was the dazzling Moulin Rouge, also starring Kidman.

Australia is set for release November 13.

I can't believe how the Aussie media does publicity for Baz Luhrmann, I hope you get a cut out of his publicity budget.
