A group of teenagers allegedly involved in a massive football brawl in Sydney's west have been arrested over a string of robberies in the area.

Up to 80 players and spectators were involved in the brawl at the Tamplin Road sports field in Guilford after an under 15's rugby league match last Saturday.

The Guilford under 14's and 15's side have since been expelled from competition.

Police say during their investigations into the incident they discovered a 17-year-old boy involved in the incident has also been involved in three separate robberies in the area in which cash and mobile phones were stolen.

A 13 and 14-year-old boy have also been charged over the robbery, while another 13-year-old boy has been charged with affray for his role in the brawl.
