Adelaide Crows coach Neil Craig has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until the end of 2011.
He has already signed for next year, so the new deal will take his tenure at Adelaide to seven years.
Craig took over as senior coach role in a caretaker role in round 14, 2004 and was appointed to a three-year term at the end of that year.
In 2006 his deal was extended to the end of 2009.
He coached his 100th AFL game last week with a win against Richmond and is now just eight games away from overtaking Gary Ayres as Adelaide's longest-serving coach.
"Neil continues to do an outstanding job for our football club," Crows chief executive Steven Trigg said.
"Extending his term provides a clear direction for our club, as well as a stable environment for the coaches and playing group.
"Under Neil's full-time leadership we have been extraordinarily competitive, competing in the finals series each year.
"At the same time, were delighted with the progress made in terms of list management."
