Embattled MP John Della Bosca expects to be exonerated over his involvement in the Iguanas nightclub affair, with the DPP handing down its findings as soon as Friday.
Mr Della Bosca has been in political exile for more than two months, after he and his wife, federal Labor MP Belinda Neal, were accused of bullying staff at the Central Coast club.
The formed education minister has said he's confident he'll be cleared of any wrong doing, saying he could return to parliament as minister by the end of the week.
"As I have done nothing wrong in connection with any of the matters that are the subject of the inquiry, I expect to be exonerated," Mr Della Bosca told Fairfax in an email.
"In the near future I would love to have a talk ... about new challenges and opportunities in education and training and the provision of safe and fair workplaces in NSW."
NSW Premier Morris Iemma has said he will reinstate Mr Della Bosca as education minister if he is cleared by the DPP.
