The Thai Prime Minister has told police to get ready to evict thousands of protestors from the government compound they've occupied for the past two days.
Up until now the Thai police have been cautious about confronting the protesters, who’ve been occupying the Prime Minister’s office in Bangkok.
The security forces don’t want to get caught in the middle of the dispute that still rages in Thailand, over the influence of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatr.
The PAD accuses the current government of being Thaksin Shinawatr’s proxy.
But with arrest warrants now issued for the nine top leaders of the PAD, police have the powers to go after them.
