Perennial overachievers Everton have agreed to sign Louis Saha from champions Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.
The Frenchman will put pen to paper on his two-year contract if he passes a medical.
Saha, 30, has the option for a third-year.
"Everton have agreed a deal to sign Louis Saha from Manchester United," a statement on Everton’s official website said.
"The Frenchman is set to sign a two-year deal - with the option for a third year - with the Blues for an undisclosed fee. The move will be completed subject to a medical."
The injury prone Frenchman hit the back of the net 42 times in 124 appearances for United.
With Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov rumoured to be on Sir Alex Ferguson’s shopping list, Saha found himself surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Saha will become the Toffees third signing of the offseason.
