Divorce rate drops for first time in 20 years

The number of divorces granted over the past year have dropped to the lowest level in 20 years.

Relationship experts say older couples are more mature and also tend to be financially secure - placing less stress on a marriage.

The study by the Bureau of Statistics shows many people are getting married in their late 20s or early 30s.
