Jennifer Aniston is reportedly set to return to TV.

The actress - who shot to fame starring as Rachel Green in hit US TV show 'Friends' from 1994 to 2004 - is said to be in talks to appear in a high-profile show on US TV network NBC, which broadcasted 'Friends'.

A source told America's OK! magazine: "Jennifer is in talks to have a guest spot on one of their high-profile shows. The top choice is '30 Rock', but if that doesn't work out, they'll try to find another show for her to make an appearance on."

A representative for NBC refused to confirm the reports.

Since 'Friends' finished, Jennifer has starred in a variety of movies including 'The Break-Up' and 'Along Came Polly'.

She also made a cameo appearance on former 'Friends' castmate and close pal Courteney Cox's magazine based TV drama 'Dirt' in 2007.

Jennifer is not the only actress making a move back to the small screen.

Katie Holmes - who starred as Joey Potter in 'Dawson's Creek' from 1998 to
2003 - can soon be seen playing an attorney in legal drama 'Eli Stone'.
