Molotov cocktail leaves man with only minor cuts

30/08/2008 3:25:00 PM.  | LIVENEWS.com.au
A molotov cocktail left a man covered in petrol, glass and fuel after it crashed through the window of his home in Sydney’s south west.

The 67-year-old was watching television in bed when the petrol bomb was hurled into his window.

The fuel failed to ignite and the elderly man escaped the attack with minor cuts to his arm and finger.

The victim could not give an explanation as to why he was targeted.

Fairfield Police were at the scene after the attacker had already fled and are urging for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

This does not make me feel safe. I see around town many pictures of local ALP chief Nick Lalich. The pictures are posted on public fences for the railways et al... As for throwing molotov cocktails, that is an act of terrorism.
