Police are hunting three armed men who've held up a pizza restaurant in Sydney’s south west overnight.
Witnesses say the trio stormed into the West Hoxton restaurant threatening staff with a knife and a metal pole before one man jumped the counter and attempted to steal from the cash registers.
As soon as police sirens could be heard approaching the restaurant the three men fled the scene empty handed.
No one was injured.
