There are calls this morning for a new code of behavioural ethics for MPs and Senators, in the wake of the Belinda Neal saga.
Labor MP Belinda Neal may be off the hook for the so-called Iguanagate affair, but questions are still being asked about her alleged bad behaviour.
And with no code of conduct in-place for Parliamentarians, Labor MP Brett Raguse says the time has come to draft one.
“We need to form another subcommittee to look at ethics and look at standards for all of us as members of Parliament, whether you’re inside the house or in public,” he said.
Meantime, Liberal Senator Sue Boyce is in hot water, after failing to make it to the Upper House for a crucial vote in stopping the Government's controversial Luxury Car Tax overnight, but Coalition colleagues are standing by her.
