Thandie Newton loves giving birth

Thandie Newton loves giving birth so much she wants to do it every year.

The 'RocknRolla' actress has two daughters - seven-year-old Ripley and Nico, three, with her husband Ol Parker - and says delivering them was one of the most amazing experiences she had been through.

She said: "Birth is very challenging in the best way possible. Every fibre of your bring in alive. It's like you are conducting electricity, literally creating something. I'd like to give birth every year if I would, just for the experience."

The actress also revealed her personality became "wild and fierce" during her pregnancies, and she believes carrying her children helped her discover herself.

She said: "People talk about pregnant women as if they've gone a bit mad.

You know, 'She's a bit hormonal.' But I felt as though I'd been introduced to myself for the first time. You become totally uncompromising, wild and fierce."

Giving birth to my daughter was an absolutely amazing experience. I chose natural childbirth and I would definitely do it again and again and again!!
