An incensed Ernie Dingo launched into an all-out attack on Kyle Sandilands today, calling him a "commercial wanker" after a joke was made about dingoes eating babies.
Dingo took a bite out of an unsuspecting Sandilands after he was introduced with a grab of Meryl Streep screaming, "A dingo took my baby", from the movie Evil Angels.
Dingo was on the Kyle and Jackie O program to promote his new Channel 7 show Outback Wildlife Rescue.
The guest, already upset by the audio introduction, became more agitated after Sandilands casually glossed over the details of the show, calling it "Outback Rescue" and incorrectly saying it was to air at 7pm tonight.
As Sandilands led into a story about co-host Jackie O's own animal rescue attempts, Dingo interrupted him with unexpected animosity, leaving both he and Jackie O stunned.
"Basically, I think Kyle you're a bit over the top, mate," Dingo said.
"I don't think you've cared for an animal in your life, mate."
"Like your promo you put on, that 'A dingo took my baby' - that's character assassination as far as I'm concerned towards me.
"Your game is to sensationalise things and you're just basically a commercial wanker."
The interview degenerated further, with Dingo attempting to speak solely to Jackie O before Sandilands cut him off, saying: "What a c**khead you turned out to be Ernie. Get out of here, I'm not interested."
