A naked man has fallen two stories to his death after being tasered by New York police.
Iman Morales, was ranting naked for 40 minutes on the second-story ledge of a New York building at about 2pm when he was shot with a taser gun by police.
The 35-year-old had been armed only with an eight-foot fluorescent light tube, with his mother pleading at the scene for police not to hurt him. She said he was sick.
According to the
New York Post, Morales had been heard shouting: “You’re going to kill me. I’m going to take everyone with me.
“I’m going to die. You’re all going to die with me.”
After being tasered, Mr Morales fell 10 feet to the pavement and died a few hours later at Kings County Hospital.
A police lieutenant was stripped of his gun and badge over the incident, and the officer he ordered to fire the taser was placed on desk duties.
