Acid-tongued TV personality Red Symons was gonged off celebrity dance contest Dancing with the Stars last night after weeks of dodgy performances.
The famous media bully had an at times rocky ride on the show clashing with controversial judge Todd McKenney and scoring poorly with his dancing. However even McKenney had to concede he'd improved.
“Look, you’re never going to be a dancer… But you’re better now than when you started,” he said last night.
Online bookies Sportingbet Australia and Lasseters Sportsbook are both predicting Home and Away star Jodi Gordon will be punted on the next episode of the show, screening on October 12.
Sportingbet has Gordon at $3.50 with Luke Jacobz following close behind on $4.00.
The injured Toni Pearen is still poised to take out the show according to the bookmakers although former Collingwood player Paul Licuria has rocketed up the charts after receiving a nine out of ten from all three judges for his Argentine Tango last night.
“The former Collingwood Magpie opened the competition at $14 but has moved in each week and is now $6.50 after receiving the judges highest score last night,” said Sportingbet’s Michael Sullivan.
Dancing with the Stars airs on Sundays at 7.30pm on Channel Seven. It will return on October 12.
