Man charged with highspeed car chase

4/10/2008 12:15:00 PM.  | Erin Maher
A man's been charged with leading police on a chase though Sydney’s northwest early on Saturday morning.

The driver was clocked at 180 kilometers an hour on the M2 but didn't stop when police tried to pull him over.

The pursuit ended when the car hit a tree.

1200 drivers have already been caught for speeding offences during the Double-Demerit period.

Another brain dead idiot driving on the road. This idiot not only he should loose his licence but also his car for good, sorry I forgot we have a gutless state govt who are afraid of their own shadow. Come on Skippy throw the book at this one, you have to start somewhere.
