Police search bushland after mysterious murder

6/10/2008 7:05:00 AM.  | Heidi Tiltins
Police are resuming their search of parks and bushland at Tempe in Sydney's south, as they hunt the killers of a man.

Witnesses have reported hearing loud bangs along Short Street late last night, before a man was spotted staggering up the road, covered in blood.

Police tried to resuscitate the man after responding to a number of 000 calls from concerned residents, but he had died by the time paramedics arrived on the scene

The road has now been closed off as detectives hunt for clues.

Police, who are treating the death as suspicious, are searching nearby parks and bushland.
